Depend upon it there comes a time when for every addition of knowledge you forget something that you knew before. It is of the highest importance, therefore, not to have useless facts elbowing out the useful ones.
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (1859–1930), Author. Sherlock Holmes, in A Study in Scarlet (1887).

CC3 Symbols in 3D Apps

You can shortcut Artistic Ability in making Custom Symbols for CC3 by using programs such as Vue.

To create Reference PNG Symbols for CC3, you can use programs such as Vue.

Here is a Simple image I did for a Mountain Symbol.

Image ends here extra space is for Shadow, which I forgot to place a Ground Plane to catch the Shadow. I also would like to adjust both the Light Angle and the Shadow Angle. You could make variations on this one just by Rotating. This is about the same size as the Images included in CC3. A bit too much detail in this Texture, but that can be resolved by Scaling it a few notches first.

If I get some time away from work, I will do a full Tutorial.

This is more to give you some ideas of what is possible.

Here is some other fun you can have in 3D Apps using CC2 or CC3
